SPW - Students Partnership Worldwide USA
Volunteers are placed in small groups within rural communities of Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, India or Nepal. SPW volunteers use a range of formal and informal methods to teach about issues such as sanitation, deforestation, organic farming techniques, HIV/AIDS, and child rights. SPW provides total support for our volunteers throughout the program with permanent offices in each program country. Volunteers for Peace
Volunteers for Peace (VFP) is an International Voluntary Service that provides programs where people from diverse backgrounds can work together. There is a $200 per workcamp fee that includes meals and accommodations. Anyone age 18 years of age and older may participate. Young Parent's Program
Corporation for Public Management is looking for college students who are interested in volunteering their time to assist young women in obtaining their GED by providing tutoring in basic mathematics (fractions, decimals, and percents) and writing (grammar). The Springfield Housing Authority has a temporary position for Information Systems Technician. The applicant must have experience trouble-shooting PCs and printers, experience with Microsoft software and Telnet programs, experience with Access and experience maintaining a network, familiarity with TCP/IP and Windows NT. Farm Sanctuary
Farm Sanctuary, Watkins Glen, NY has a volunteer internship program located in upstate New York. The Internships begin on the first of every month and require at least a one-month commitment (two - three months are preferred). Interns volunteer a full time, 40-hour week. Volunteer Internship Position
The Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts is seeking a Volunteer Intern for the Honorable Harry Zarrow Homeless Advocacy Project. The project utilizes a panel of attorneys and paralegals in its goal to prevent and reduce homelessness. The Volunteer Intern must be available at least 3 full days per week.
