INTERNSHIPS


If you are a Junior or Senior interested in doing an internship you must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. This is a way to gain experience in your major! Come to the CareerCenter and register or call Laurie Maratea at 782-1560.

Entercom Boston
Entercom Boston has unpaid internships available. A Graphics/Web Content Internship is available through Entercom Boston. Intern must have knowledge of graphics, web, audio & video programs, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Premier, Macromedia Dreamweaver & Flash, Windows Media and sound editing software.
Internship programs are also available at each station (WAAF, WEEI, WQSX, WRKO, WVEI). Interns will assist either the programming or promotions department, depending on which is available. Duties may include mailing out prizes, assisting with show prep, and setting up and breaking down local promotions.

Full Time Undergraduate Internship Opportunities

Washington Internship Program
The Washington Internship Program is a combination of work and study. Areas that students pursue are science and technology, education, public relations, journalism, and law. Entry Point/AAAS
The outstanding internship program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science is now accepting applications from students with disabilities majoring in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering and Biology. After School Substance Abuse Prevention Youth Program
Gandara Center is seeking two interns to work two afternoons per week from September through May with an after school substance abuse prevention program in Springfield for 11-15 year olds. Brightside for Families and Children
Work available in special units designed to treat adolescents who have sexually offended other children. Interns will learn behavior treatment interventions, learn about special needs of this population, and help build self-esteem in individuals. Experience with children and teens helpful, education regarding sexual abuse issues preferred. Several interviews may be required of candidates. Springfield Police Department - Academy
Interns will work directly with the Academy staff in implementing training/retraining for the officers. Student will be hands on in all aspects of our training. The Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts is seeking a Volunteer Intern for the Honorable Harry Zarrow Homeless Advocacy Project.
