Fellowship and Vito Marzullo Internship
The James H. Dunn, Jr. Memorial
Fellowship and Vito Marzullo Internship Program are governmental
initiatives. These programs are to encourage talented college
graduates to consider careers in state government. Completion
of an undergraduate degree prior to the commencement of the

James Madison Memorial
Fellowship Foundation
Each year the James Madison
Memorial Fellowship Foundation makes available at least one
graduate-level fellowship worth up to $24,000 in each state.
Fellows are expected to complete one of the following: Master
of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching or Master of Education
with an emphasis on American history, government, political
science or other relevant concentration. For additional information

Transition to Teaching
Howard University's Transition to Teaching Program is a one-year
program that begins in July and ends in June. It consists
of summer training, paid tuition for 18 graduate credits towards
certification and/or Master's degree, a full-time, three-year
teaching contract with a partnering school district and up
to $5,000 stipend by the completion of the program. For more

Maine Conservation Corps
(MCC)
The MCC is currently recruiting 30 Volunteer Leader/Watershed
Educator and Environmental Educator AmeriCorps members to
serve in the area of water and air quality monitoring. Applicant
must have a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
(preferably in science or education) and must be a US citizen.
