Works By Local Artists on Exhibition at Western New England College

SPRINGFIELD, MA—The 1999-2000 season of exhibits at the Campus Center Art Gallery at Western New England College continues with 33 works by three local artists. The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will take place Sunday, February 6, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the gallery located in the St. Germain Campus Center. The exhibit, featuring 11 works by each artist, runs through Friday, March 31, 2000.

The show features oils and watercolors by Ellen Farley of Chicopee, pastels by Victoria Jordan of Springfield, and pastels by Nancy Michon of Chicopee. The theme of the exhibit is "Nature’s Images: Three Perspectives."

Western New England College is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, the College serves its 5,100 students on its main campus and at 20 sites throughout the Commonwealth. Undergraduate and graduate programs are offered through the College's Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Law.
