Western New England College Wintersession Monday, January 4 through Friday, January 15, 2010 On-Campus Classes meet Monday through Friday (10 days) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Priority Registration for Wintersession begins November 9 (priority registration is according to assigned registration numbers)
This schedule is subject to change if enrollments make additions or cancellations of course sections necessary. No student will be permitted to register for more than 1 wintersession course during this period.
Currently Attending Full-time and Part-time Matriculated WNEC students assigned priority registration numbers: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full-time and Part-time WNEC students need the approval of their faculty advisor or the school's Associate/Assistant Dean if the faculty advisor is not available. Faculty advisors can also use an "Add" slip for wintersession registrations. Full-time and Part-time WNEC students would then proceed to the SAS Office to have their approved wintersession registration processed.
Currently Attending Non-Degree, Part-time WNEC students assigned priority registration numbers: ------------------------------------------------------------ Non-degree, Part-time WNEC students need to obtain the approval of the Associate/Assistant Dean from the school responsible for a wintersession course (for business course, see the School of Business, and for arts & sciences course, see the School of Arts & Sciences).
Students Registering Themselves On-Line for Wintersession: --------------------------------------------------------- Current traditional seniors and juniors must meet, & obtain the approval of their advisors, before they can register themselves on-line @ ASAP for a Wintersession course - starting @ 12:01 a.m. Nov. 9. Current non-traditional students can register themselves on-line @ ASAP for a Wintersession course - starting @ 12:01 a.m. Nov. 9.
New (includes "visiting" students from other colleges) Students: ------------------------------------------------------- If interested in taking a course as a non-degree student, please contact the Office of Admissions for an application - 413-782-1517, or study@wnec.edu. Upon receiving permission to register, an advisor from the appropriate School will be assigned. The advisor will assist with the registration process.
Use of the Internet and log-in instructions for "Manhattan". As noted in selected course descriptions, students may be expected or required to use the Internet and the College's Internet-based "Manhattan" program. Registered students may access the Internet, and "Manhattan", from computers located on the main campus in Springfield or from their own personal computers.
