ATTENTION: Incoming Freshmen and Transfer Students:
Seats in appropriate course offerings are often "saved" for freshmen and transfer students. As a result, some course sections (i.e. designated as "Freshmen Only Sections") may be prematurely marked CLOSED in order to save the necessary seats for the Orientation and Registration Program.

Use of the Internet and "Manhattan" .
As noted in selected course comments/descriptions, students may be expected or required to use the Internet and the College's Internet-based "Manhattan" program. Registered students may access the Internet, and "Manhattan", from computers located on the main campus in Springfield or from their own personal computers. Information about "Manhattan" is available at http://manhattan.wnec.edu

The comment, "Taught on-line w/Manhattan", means a student does not have to physically attend classes on campus. The course instruction is delivered entirely via the Internet.
